N4GN and 9V1YC just spoke briefly with the BS7H 1997 team en route back to Guangzhou. The ship is currently anchored at the mouth of the Pearl River delta, where the P.R.C. Ocean Bureau officials on board are conducting some research. Everyone is safe and in good health.
Cuurently, the team expects to arrive in Guangzhou late this evening, local time (approximately 12-14 hours from now, or around 1600Z). Further details will be released once they are available.
