KCG E-mail ReflectorFrequently Asked QuestionsQ: How do I sign up? A: Go to the KCG e-mail list info page and enter your e-mail address to subscribe. In order to avoid spam (and to keep the competition from snooping on our conversations!), a moderator will need to approve manually your subscription request, so that might cause a small delay--hopefully no longer than a day or so. Q: How do I send a message to the entire KCG list? A: Once you are subscribed, simply address your e-mail message to kcg@timtotten.com and it automatically will be forwarded to everyone. Q: What if I want to unsubscribe? A: Go to the KCG e-mail list info page and follow the directions at the bottom of the page to unsubscribe. Unsubscribes happen immediately, and do not require moderator approval. Q: My messages don't seem to be going through. What's up with that? A: Be sure that you're sending them from the same e-mail address that you were originally subscribed with. This can be an issue if you signed up with an alias address like xyz@arrl.net, but you are sending from xyz@whateverisp.com. By default, only members are allowed to post to the list, so if the software doesn't recognize your address as a member, your message will be held for a moderator to manually approve or reject. The moderator can add additional non-member addresses to the list of approved senders if necessary.
